TDCA, in conjunction with the Tideswell & Hope Valley First Responders, and with a grant from Derbyshire Dales Council for Voluntary Services, raised funds for the purchase and installation of our initial defibrillator in Tideswell. There are now Six public access defibrillators in Tideswell, in the locations shown below:
On an ongoing basis, all are regularly checked by the First Responders, and TDCA pays for spare parts (pads and batteries) for 4 of the 5 defibrillators from funds raised by TDCA’s activities. Parts for the defibrillator at the Sports Pavilion are paid for by Tideswell Community Park.
