As stated elsewhere the TDCA prime focus is to raise funds generally for the benefit of village associations and groups.
However, occasionally a cause comes along that we select for special fund raising attention, you will find out more about our current flagship concern on this page.
Defibrillaters
The TDCA provided the first village defibrillator for use in emergencies which is currently sited outside the Co-op.
In view of the need to have the machines situated close to any emergency it has been suggested that more of these potential life savers are needed on other sites in the village.
To do this the TDCA has started a fund to raise the money to purchase what is needed. Any group, organisation or individual who would like to contribute can do so through the Treasurer, Alan Brignell at 9 Commercial Road Tideswell or simply make a donation to any committee member.
Please help us to give wider emergency cover to people in the village that will hopefully save lives.

If this event proved anything, it was that we here in the village and surrounding area, can be proactive, raise funds, make a difference and have fun at the same time.
